Solo Project - Logo Design - Branding & Identity - Mural Design
When tasked with redesigning the logo for my hometown of Iowa City, the first things that came to mind were the sense of community along with the friendliness and diversity amongst our people. Whether it be the Iowa wave during a game at Kinnick Stadium or showing a bit of Iowa nice everyday, Iowa city is a special place where you canʼt find a better place to go to school or start a family.

Throughout history, women and girls have been subjected to violence and abuse far more than men which leads to further physical, emotional and social issues experienced. After researching several topics on women's equality issues, I decided to go in the direction of violence against women and creating a campaign of facts and figures to shock those unaware with public installations including wall projections and billboards. The sponsor of this campaign is the Office on Violence Against Women from the U.S. Department of Justice.
SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING
Solo Project - Packaging Design - Sustainability
For this project, our challenge was to redesign a package with sustainability as a priority. Composta-Bowl is a compostable instant noodle brand with the convenience of the to-go cup without the harmful waste that styrofoam and plastic creates. Using a fiber paper material and eliminating the need for flavor packages, excess packaging is avoided.

Solo Project - Poster Design - Data Visualization - Typography
This series of flyers is not only for educational purposes and voting resources, but to highlight the challenges associated with the election process. Registering to vote, locating and getting transportation to polling places, as well as the ability to request an absentee ballot to send in from home. All flyers created in this project either encourage those who have not planned to participate to get out and vote using data visualization graphs to highlight groups of people who have participated in the past to push the future voters.

Working with the President and Treasurer of the Biobus club at Iowa State, a redesign of the logo was necessary due to university trademark issues. The club manufactures biofuel using a reactor of their own construction, the fuel and technology used to power the public transportation system of Ames. The primary and secondary logo solutions represent the green biofuel used to run the buses.
